Neuropsychological Evaluations

Most providers do not accept insurance or only accept BCBS insurance

• Average cost for families: $4,500-$7,000

• Insurance may cover any costs over plan deductible (family pays $1,000-$7,000) or 80% of cost minus educational testing (family pays $2,400-$3,500)

• Family pays out-of-pocket if they have an HMO plan & the provider is out-of-network or if the provider does not take insurance

Mental Health Therapy

Many research-supported programs (CBT, ACT, PCIT, DBT, SPACE) do not accept insurance

• $200-$400/hour; 4 hrs/month; 6-8 months; $4,800-$12,800/year

• Insurance may cover any costs over plan deductible (family pays $1,000-$10,000) or 80% of cost (family pays $960-$2,560)

• Family pays out-of-pocket if they have an HMO plan & the provider is out-of-network or if the provider does not take insurance
